I was about to call it early yesterday as a discovery but didn't want to set off too much controversy.

Reasons:
- Nido reservoir found = tick
- seal = tick
- hydrocarbon charge (including liquids) = tick
- porosity = ? but I am certain Shell know what they are looking at on the seismic given their experience on Malampaya

The only questions imho now are the size of the hydrocarbon column, net to gross and oil v gas quantities.

My gut feel is it will be announced as a gas discovery with an inferred oil rim along the lines of Malampaya.
