re: Ann: MARKET UPDATE BATEMAN ENGINEERING RE... Granted Callback that it appears that way, particularly in the way GOT "hyped" and "spun".

I'd be very wary though on two counts- the first is that, in my opinion, GOT deal in perceptions, hype and spin as an art form.

The second is that, in my opinion, GOT could place JC on the board and wouldn't make one bit of difference re the attitude of the TO's. In my opinion any hope of any meaningful realtionship between the TO' and GOT is long gone. Not that, again, in my opinion, there was any hope in the forst place...the issues are too important to the TO's.

What I would hope though is if this blokes as crash hot as GOT reckon re Native Title etc. ( although how on earth anyone could be expected to match the hyperbole in the ASX announcemt is another thing altogether) then GOT get the message re the obstacles involved he may be of help. The next step, though, in my opinion, in regard to the interests of the SH's, and in showing some common respect for those parting with their hard earned, is that the company 'fesses up as to the realities in the here and now, and articulates the obstacles in the road ahead.

Callback may I say in anticipation, that this post doesn't warrant, in my opinion, vitriole and ridicule in any response of yours...but feel free of course. Maelstrom's recent post was the only one that's ever made me angry in this forum...but I got over that after a minute or two. Let her rip son, I'm all for free speech.
