A patient at work had to have a specialty oncology drug that was specially imported from overseas.
It cost over 13 grand, and was not covered by his insurance or by the PBS.
That's for ONE injection!!
Even if the Unifill cost 10 dollars, it's a drop in the ocean compared to the cost of the drug.
There are many other such pricey medications out there, not just 20 cent vaccines.
