I should have made my question clearer - I was referring to not only where you live but the fact that in many aboriginal communities it is really only the women and not the elders that try to protect the children - I find this at complete odds with the type of culture of nurturing you describe

Any way probably getting off topic now - every one yillianga has their price - your mistake if you dont mind me saying is that you assume it is the TOs who have the price required - I think you are right they wont be bought off but they may not be the ones with the final say
