I do believe that such a "RISK" is real! But a guaranteed $0.20 per share would/will also not be too shabby for all other shareholders in PCL, I would assume...
Naturally, it would/will be MUCH nicer to see PCL's shareprice soar to over $1.00 if/when finding oil off-shore Kenya. But there is that "IF" in this sentence that is reflecting the high risk that oil exploration always entails!
Lastly, IMHO the emergence of those Indago/Blue Capital sharks has in a way put a new floor under PCL's sp. The 59'432'292 shares they combined did buy were executed at an average-in price of $0.08374, which is likely to be (quite) a bit higher than most long-term holders' in-price! The big question is: Will they stop now?? After all they did purchase 25 mio. at between $0.095 / 0.096, roughly where the sp is still now. (Does anybody know how much funds they do have at their disposal???)
As I did mention: WHY sell at the current sp?? Hold onto your PCL stock is my honest opinion. IF the sharks want to buy more, let them pay a HIGH price at least.
Frankly, I do NOT like the emergence of those sharks - but we just will have to get used to it I presume....

Lastly, dexter1: I fully agree that "The Hammer" is basically just PUTTING SPIN on what he pushes, i.e. Mongolia and Kenya (at present). Those two places cannot make up for the shortfall in oil production that the earth will be facing (Yes, I do believe in the peak oil "theory", which to me is starting to show effects now...).
