I just have to take issue with you on one or two things:

The first is that Royalties are not a "presentation" to the ALC or to the TO's, they are rent paid to the TO's for the leasing of their land.

Secondly, Commonwealth, State and Teritory Governments provide infrastructure for all its citizens...the TO's are both citizens of the Australia and the NT. In my opinion the infrastructure provided by those governments on the Archipelago pales in comparison to what is provided in the Mainstream cities and towns.

Thirdly, under a Regional Partenerhip Agreement (RPA), the TO's leased the land upon which sits the major villages of the Archipelago to the Commonwealth in return for greater intrusion, by the Commonwealth, into the decision making and service delivery that effects their lives in some key areas (eg. Health). In return they received an injection of funds enabling, for example, the construction 82 new dwellings in a two stage process lasting around four to five years.

The Commonwealth and the ALC, acting on behalf of the TO's, have also entered into a number joint initiatives with the Commonwealth (for example sealing the 80 klm road between the two major villages, Angurugu and Umbukumba)wherebye funding is matched dollar for dollar betweeen the Governmnet and the TO's. There are various mixes of this type of arrangement depending upon the initiative.

In needs, too, to be noted that the Gemco mine generates in any one year, between 50%-60% of the Aboriginal Trust Monies (ABT), a general Royalty, from mining, that is distributed amongst Aboriginal Cultures in the NT. Therebye, in leasing their land to Gemco for mining, not only does the general economy reap great reward from the TO's leasing their land to Gemco, the Groote TO's in a sense subsidise other Aboriginal Cultures.

I must ask you this question, why do you appear to insist that Royalties and the provision of Government infrustructure is a "present"? Is Governmnet infrastructure in the Mainstream a "present" too? The Goote Eylandters, to their credit, continue to wean themselves off social security, and at pace, by engaging in employment, for the most part in real jobs- in mining, construction, health and education and the like.

I would suggest that there is often mutual antagonism on this forum. As a "late comer" to investing in GOT you may not be aware of the history of posting re the stock. I am. I've read every post on every thread re GOT that is available to me. Pro GOT, either investors or sympathisers, went in the past, when the SP was riding high, well beyond "antagonism", in my opinion.

After my initial foray here I stated that I was happy to post factual information and "speculate" as the dynamic unfolded. Often my "antagonism" is in response to the antagonism of other posters. I often post in response to others. I have have never initiated a thread here. I have also stated that some posters give me "oxygen" to continue to forward my point of view. And, as in my opinion, there is no common ground between the TO's and GOT, verified by their numerous public statements, the whole situation is one of mutial antagonism. In terms of representin the TO's viepoint I am happy to provide documentation that it is also their viewpoint. Two posters, or apparent posters, have taken advantage of this offer by contacting me by email. Our exchanges have been courteous, and continue to be so, and they appear to agree that I am legitimately presenting the point of view of the TO's.

No hats off to me Fluffynymph for the life I choose...sometimes I wish I didn't choose it, but it does equip me to rebuff and challenge the stereotypical notiions , and sometime the outright racist positions that some posters here, in my opinion, hold; not only in regard to the TO's of Groote but to aborigines in general.

The TO's held a meeting in response to a post requesting me to place certain information (an argument if you will)before them by a member of the forum. It seemed like a reasonable request and one quite readily accomodated. I have in my possession their response, and a motion asking me to post it.

If only a clutch of SH's are represented on these threads, would you agree that I couldn't logically be held responsible for the dramatic drop in the SP since I began posting. Although I acknowledge that the TO's public campaign, which I coordinate, and which on a number occasions in 2010 resulted in media traction accounted for the original dive in the SP.

Although, via media releases, our campaign has attempted to gain media traction in 2011, apart from the rejection of GOT's Land Based EL's and an SBS Living Black piece, we've come up zero. On the other hand GOT, itself, has managed to generate media interest negative, and quite scathing of its activities.

I think I know the Julie Dowling to who you refer.

I don't have an iPod, but I do have a CD player and an MP3 and a tape deck in my Hilux...I tend to listen to Bob Dylan, The Clash, Elvis Costello, The Byrds and the Allman brothers as I go about the business of attempting to destroy GR as a viable commercial entity.
