It was widely reported that WMC gave up on all their offshore projects to focus on Olympic Dam.

The copper price has gone from circa $1,500 per tonne when WMC offloaded Tampakan in 2001 to $9,000 per tonne today.

Tony Robbins, ex WMC, took up the mantle on Tampakan when he began Indophil so do you really think he would have done so if he thought the community opposition was insurmountable?

Richard Laufmann was part of the WMC team which discovered Tampakan, do you really think he would have got involved if he though the community opposition was insurmountable?

HC, I've said it before, whilst your posts have been good to bring everyone up to speed with the local opposition, your generalisations really don't add much value to this forum.
