Ms Havig said her multimillion-dollar client base, which she had had for years, was now virtually non-existent.
"I have no one. And I had them for years. I'm talking about CEOs, mining chiefs - they were my clients - but they're all gone.
"I had a lot of developers buying Brisbane's best property. They're all gone."
Ms Havig said much of her former client base - a private list of incredibly wealthy people from around the country - blamed the mining tax and the instability of the federal government for the drop in consumer confidence.
And potential buyers were too afraid to buy as they believed prices would plummet, she said.
"Really, it's a great time to buy but the problem is no one's got the courage. They're all far too worried about where our economy is headed," Ms Havig said.
Agent John Johnston said confidence in the economy was "absolutely shot".
