Ah Yes back to normality on the ORD board. (Good to see). Team, the next 2 -4 weeks is going to be interesting times for ORD. The boys are back in Oz and will be in Brisbane tomorrow providing clarity over the Caledon deal which has led a few people puzzled as to its impact plus a general update on all things ORD. This stock (as someone has already posted) has something for everyone DT??s, ST, LT or SMSF. The only concern with DT??s or short term trading is the timing. You may have noticed that ORD tends to announce things in pairs within a short timeframe. As some of you have done you can make nice profits many times over on the 30 -40 % swings prior to factual news being posted. The challenge of course is in the timing especially when the facts and the awareness/ understanding of the market value of ORD gets factored in the frenzy buy/sell orders. The horse may bolt too far. On Timing; My estimates for JORC revision where to my recollection towards the end of June. Obviously I don??t know when precisely (I am only taking an educated guess based on the normal processing times/delays of past analysis work) . However like JFI the fundamentals are very strong for the long term (which in my case is over 6-7 years). What everyone knows based on published reports is that the bauxite JORC revision is going to be increased. What we don??t know is by how much and at what quality the bauxite composite is to be specified. One of my posts that did get washed away in the purge had stated my excitement (and relief) that centred on GRAM, RBC, NFC, CNFMM and Caledon. These interrelationships to ORD are crucial to its success. Having seen the near finalisation of the options deal with Caledon tells me that the relationships (at extremely high levels) are real and that the rest (logic prevailing) should follow like dominoes. It??s amazing that despite what I have written above I still regard Suplejack as being my main motivator for holding ORD after all these years. Enjoyed the journey but hell patience is definitely a virtue with small caps ??
