So let's get this right - just days before the last election she was droning out ad nauseum the NO CARBON TAX message, Swan was laughing it off as totally ridiculous and yet Gillard said your quote above the day before the election - so you are telling us she deliberately lied with her dominant message of 'NO Carbon Tax'and the quiet little message the day before the election was the truth ?
I don't remember hearing the quiet little quote you have supplied, but I do remember NO CARBON TAX UNDER A GOVERNMENT I LEAD.
If so, a deliberate lie makes it much worse than a backflip.
