I think a buy back is a good idea. But I also think that BTA should get rid of all their pipline developments except for those that relate to LANI). They are all very high risk and a drain on finances whereas the flue drugs (particularly with BARDA funding) are low risk, high reward.I have great respect for the real information that Jessie and Muzzarati post on BTA but have to disagree with Muzzarati about conserving cash for pipeline. I think the best result for shareholders will be a takeover from large pharma (in which the pipeline on non flue drugs will count for nothing)and so a reduction in the number of shares through a buyback will be in the best interests of current shareholders.
