re: biggest volume since last october There is no specified limit to the number of ADRs which can be traded. However, since they must be backed by ordinary shares, then the situation, as far as transfer of control is concerned, is really no different to that which obtains today. If anybody wants to offer me $10 per share, (ie, $A80 per ADR) I'll certainly give it some thought!

I suspect the ADRs will be traded very lightly and cautiously for the first couple of months. Any real impact will probably wait on the full year's figures.
