radrs - who owns the rights? Can anyone confirm if I have this right?
When a US investor orders an ADR, the BOA buys 8 RDF on the ASX and holds them against the ADR. The ADR will be charged at whatever price BOA paid for the shares plus their fees.
Is it the BOA or the ADR holder who holds the voting rights for the shares? If it is BOA, then they stand to become a significant player.
BTW my earlier posting suggesting a share price of $30+ in 3 to 4 years may be a little on the optimistic side, but not too much.
Regards,
Keith.
