    Just out of curiousity (and might be a dumb question), how does a share consolidation affect the value of the stock?

    And another question, if the company consolidates 10 to 1, and I had for example 7 shares, what would happen to me? Will I be expected to buy another 3 shares before the consolidation takes place?
