Some very interesting points there let me tell you, and well worth the time to reply to them.

1) The cattle and the farming will be well looked after let me tell you. After all they are well looked after now. Nothing will change. As to whether or not I will last long enough without driving through them on a daily basis with my faithful "JEWEL", (the kelpie bitch) barking her head off on the back of the Cruiser though, that I can't say. Besides, she would have to come with me.

2) As to how you can determine that WM may think I am the wrong man for the job, that alone is a big guess indeed. For all we know WM may agree with my ways of thinking.

3) As for you expecting that CDU is looking for someone with a "dead easy" attitude, it is only another guess of yours. After all, would a person with a dead easy attitude be the right person to fulfill the requirements outlined by the company or not.!! Think about it. For, IMO a backsidelicker is definitely not the person to have the finger on the pulse for such a prospective and promising operation/Company.

Would a person that is willing to say it the way it is, and be responsible to keep the finances and the cash going on a need for need basis be better than a person that is not so intent in doing such a thing and just follow the leader ?? Horses for courses mate.

After all, if you have any inclinations of financials and what it entails and the responsibility therein, you would know what I mean. A financial man in a large company is like the heart specialist in a cardiology hospital that will keep an eye on the heart and make sure that it will keep on pumping. For, when it stops, regardless of what other resources they have available, in most cases it only means one thing. DEATH!!!

Why do you think that most, if not all of the big recipients of huge emoluments in any Company are financial man ??

One more thing mate. And that is that I have no intentions to apply for that job anyway. Although I have to admit that it would be a very interesting and challenging job. Especially when it entails working for, and with WM.
It was just a tongue in cheek comments and IMO worthy of some comments with the intent of taking us away from the nonsense that is continuoulsy posted in these threads. Just like a seesaw.

Finally Stumacca, and for you own information, I know what the outback is all about. For, when I first arrived in this Country I spent some years builidng power lines and bringing the elctricity to many a remote places, and many other jobs, and I loved every moment and the camaraderie of it all.

It happens that I simply hate office work. But if you think about it, someone has to be able to do it.
