Don't forget LYC has a large stake in NTU which has very good heavy rare earth holdings, once LYC is in production would not be hard for it to fully take over NTU
Not taking anything away from ALK but I believ LYC will have the Malaysian situation resolved soon and be the first non-Chinese player to market for rare earths. Being first to market will get them a foot I. The door and good long term contrcts as is already evident with Japanese.
