12 month delay on bfs, page-41

Sure there's a 3 mth delay to the BFS, but this simplification of the processing route may reduce the overall lead time to production, avoid the number of teething issues later, and most importantly for investors, help ensure the plant reaches nameplate production capability in the shortest timeframe possible. Of course, a reduction in CAPEX can only be a good thing. Pity the expanded BFS is going to cost so much more but it buys ANSTO more time.

I'm quickly realising how difficult it's going to be for smaller players in the RE industry to make it to where ARU, LYC and ALK are now. NAV were bloody smart to spin-off KRE, and ARV struck a good deal in selling Yangibana.

As a side note, I wouldn't be suprised if the government introduced some laws to protect the REE industry in Australia. I note that investors in SOR will be exempt from paying capital gains tax. I wonder if REE companies will end up paying a low rate of company tax in the future if the market becomes too competitive in the future?
