    I do think the rounding will be an issue. We currently round to the nearest 5c (on total) and most people dont care one way or the other. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

    But if the 5c is scrapped and we need to start rounding to nearest 10c, then I can see people making that extra effort to make the rounding go in their favour.

    Personally I wouldnt bother for 2 or 3c, but I can see pensioners doing it. And on simple transactions like petrol, you certainly have nothing to lose by going just over everytime.

    On low ticket items its a decent percentage for sellers to wear.

    I would prefer it remained for the meantime. But perhaps they could look at changing the metal composition or size. Or stop minting them and slowly let them die out. Surely we dont need as many as 10years ago?
