Economically, Europe is a basket case, the US is not much better, and, although Australia has its headwinds, things are much better here then most countries

So why is the ASX performing so much worse than European and US market

Answer: Leadership. Or to the point, lack of leadership. Investors are largely avoiding Austalia as a result of the Gillard government and the ASX is being weighed down by this.

So why is Biota performing so much worse than its peers on the ASX despite the very strong potential of its pipeline of products, inparticularly LANI.

Answer: Leadership, or to the point, lack of leadership.
