    Jcoulter,

For what it is worth, what continues to trouble me is the on-going indication that a rail/port deal is well progressed (and that there are multiple options) and yet, to date, there is no release to the market of an agreement that has at least reached the in-principle agreement stage etc.

If there is one in place, why not disclose it to the market (of course leaving out any in-confidence material as required). This will remove a lot of anxiety and may have a beneficial effect on the risk rating of the stock (particularly in view of Multi's post).

If there is not one in place, it would be reasonable to think that any agreement will take some time to develop and finalise. That is simple commercial reality.

The "not knowing" is killing the SP for those who are considering that there are factors beyond it being just end of year tax sells.

P.S. Of course, the above assumes that this is the typical process of contractual development in this context. I am happy to stand corrected on this.
