Why would CTP take part in a JV (needing Billions of dollars) when this other company could take over CTP (and all of it's tenements) for just over $100 million?

The answer to taht lies in the manner and method of any TO, it most definatly would not be friendly TO, that laeves only a hostiole TO, and while on face value it appaers taht $100 mil will buy enough shares in CTP to get control, the reality is that as JH has said on several occassions, he is obtaining valuatiosn of all CTP assets. so taht the Board may properly advise shareholders.

Assume taht soem one offered 20 cents ( on toadays market ) for shares , I suspect taht there are some ( many) who would grab taht offer, However, if taht offer is well short of an independent valuation of the assets of CTP (lets say 75 cents just to pick a figure)I doubt taht so moany would accept the 20 cent offer.

Ps, Botchee, the only reason that Qldrs are quicker than NSW people is because Newsouthwelshmen have had to to carry all of Queensland for the past 100 years, and we are tired, where as Qldrs have yet to expend any energy. :)
