in cloud computing, what is essential is the network infrastructure. it must be fast and big capacity. it needs a fibre optic network to realize the ideal cloud computing. nbn will provide this superhighway. of course, hardware and software to run this system will be needed. i think cisco supplies these requirement to telstra's enterprise and government.

now, as far as i know telstra is currently the strongest cloud computing provider in australia. and it is going to invest more to grow this business. so of course i think telstra has all the competitive advantages when this computing system becomes the norm by the time nbn is completed.

if you look at telstra's promos on cloud computing, you'll see that it will be a huge business.
