They all knew cattle torture was happening. They should have got of their behinds years ago to demand an end to the torture of the cattle they love so much.
I understand all live exports had to be banned to all abattoirs in Indonesia because of the logistics involved in tracking individual beasts. Instead of whinging about it they should get on with supporting action to get the Indo abattoirs up and running again as soon as possible.
The corollary to the argument is that Gillard should reinstate the live exports and allow the torture of cattle to continue. This won't happen because the Australian public will not support it. Why blame Julia Gillard for a problem entirely of the cattle industry's own making?
How can Marlee Ranacher value her own livelihood as being more important than the abuse and torture of her own cattle? That is pretty freakin' arrogant as far as I am concerned!
Bottom line - the cattle industry should have fixed this years ago.
