I've posted this for those of you that may want to discuss it. My feelings are that CTP is purely a fishing expedition with massive challenges and a less than 1% of getting funding!

LINC's demo plant works and has been working for years.

Using the excuse that they have not done a full blown plant yet is just an opportunistic approach at bagging the whole process.

Carbon Energy and LINC's data has been used by SPE to give a world standard PJ GAS conversion from the JORC coal in place.

That's good enough for me if it's accepted by SPE. These guys check just about all petroleum processes and reserves Globally. If they say it works and is ok. Thats it. No one questions their results. They would obviously be privy to Information supplied to them by LINC and Carbon that you and I are not. I believe that CSIRO has done extensive work in this field and has been used by SPE also to evaluate what is possible.
The last hurdle for UCG companies in Australia would be the ASX allowing them to report in PJ of Gas.

Do you know who SPE are? They would of done all checks to see if the gas can be altered and manipulated to be pumped into a Fischer-Tropsch liquefying plant which is part of a UCG/GTL or CTL plant.

You can thank all the Majors who have invested in the CSG sector in Australia for the bad publicity and Government pressure to abandon UCG in QLD due to their lobbying of pulling out Billions of dollars of promised projects and the overlapping of their tenements Petroleum/Mining.

IMO, these two companies have been sabotaged on field and Politically ,hence their relocating to Central Australia as of recently and overseas to be able to prosper and grow.

If it wasn't for this outside pressure, you would of seen a plant to have been proposed by now due to their proximity to the East Coast. To make a project stack up in the middle of Australia, it has to be large, hense CTP's proposal.

Tell me,

Is there 1 company in Australia that has ever or could promise to provide all of Australia's daily consumption of fuel and have another 2 times leftover for export ??

I didn't think so.

This is a project of National Significance for our security and economy. When the Gov realises what is possible, all the doors will be opened IMO.

Anyhow, we should all get back to the Southern Georgina for now as that's where we should be getting some news next !!!
