Maybe I should've made myself a little clearer on the time frame that I am working on. It's on a 15 minute intra-day chart. The low volume can even be seen more clearly on a 5 minute chart.

Here's a 15minute for reference. Notice how it's gapped up on big volume at open, only to be sold down the next three 15minute bars. Then the volume just disappeared. Then at 12pm, we had another lot of volume turn up and that was sold into as well. Since the first bar, we have only had one since that has closed on it's high.
