saint01, I'd be interested in links to photos of the plant and equipment that you mentioned above for my cousin. He works in construction (on the engineering side) of building iron ore processing plants. Just finished atXmas Creek last month and has started applying for the Karara project but all the companies he allied with told him they are not starting until Aug/Sept and the job is supposed to last about 2 years. If that is the case I can't see much of a cash flow until late 2013 or early 2014.
The blowout at this early stage of the game is a worry, if the AUD falls and inflation & wages go up the budget could blowout again and again. Hopefully it won't end up like BHP's Raventhorpe Nickel project. :(
