daytrades july 1 afternoon

Afternoon all. Well its been a pretty ordinary day. No gaps to sell into and no big falls to pick up a bounce trade. I guess that's what we can expect for a while. Just means you have to be extra patient and find a few other interests to keep you busy.

PCL, ARM, CEO been good if you had the timing right. Large buys on CEO were certainly impressive. CGM not bouncing atm, it did spend a lot of time out of the bollies which can't last forever. Lots of stocks like MEO just stewing away waiting for better days. Not really the daytraders time of year is it?

But has been a good week and I'm out of two dog stocks and had a couple of trades in NTU so I'm not complaining. A good time to spot stocks with a bit of strength in a weak market and get to know their supports and resistances, trading vols etc and be ready to take a position when the opportunity arises.

Posts are a bit thin but we have some new posters who are bringing up some new stocks n strategies. Thank you and welcome aboard.
