Hi Ville, the matter was to be ratified in the Federal Court on the 29th June and that was part heard and set up for 11 am today. I have just phoned Marice Blackburn in Sydney and they are still at the Courthouse. I thought it was a done deal and only had to have Court approval - but there must be more to it!! As far as the settlement amounts are concerned, it is more to do with the $ (dollar) amount than the number of claims. Slater Gordon only came on the scene later on in the proceedings and obviousl picked up a lot of smaller shareholders. It will probably be Monday before we hear whether the Court has rubber stamped the agreement and then 2 weeks to confirm each individual claim. Don't expect to get money till end of July. For court decision go to Commonwealth Courts and put in Hobbs Anderson ( IMF claim) v OZ Minerals. cheers, M.
