Fair enough if you believe in all this. The fact is renewables have never been properly costed or proven for an economy like Australia and anything we do makes no difference anyways with china doubling emmissions and then add on india and the rest of asia, south america and russia.
Canada, USA, China, India, Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, Middle East, Africa want nothing more to do with it without the typical disclaimer clause "unless there is international binding agreement". as if that's going to ever happen???
Climate change is a non issue everywhere in the world but Australia. You never see it mentioned in overseas newspapers or TV except for the rare article. Cancun UN conference last year made page 12 of the New York Times and Obama didn't even attend. Yeh, big moral challenge of our times my ass!
