No ctindale I said I go there every month and I also corrected that and said, for all intents and purposes, I actually live here just not on the mainland.

My post was not about whether the Chinese monetary policy is right or wrong. They will suffer the same fate as any other government if they don't get it right something that I am fully aware of.

My post simply stated that people are prepared to make commentary on China or prepared to just believe the headline news and then make valued decisions from that without ever having been on the ground.

As an aside from the subject of my post if the monetary policy is incorrect that will be good for gold wouldn't it.

I guess my point in all this is that we really don't know what is good or bad for the Chinese and we keep looking at the Chinese through our western eyes and using western paradigms to make us feel good about ourselves.
