GO, as you will probably know from some of my previous posts, CTP only owes me about seven cents per share, although my average buy price was over 17 cents at one time. I'm generally a long-term holder, not a trader, but I've used the highs and lows on CTP to trade my average down to a level where I'm now very comfortable. You will probably also be aware that I post on quite a lot of other stocks which I hold, although some of my stocks are not ones which generate a lot of comment on HC.
I don't buy this line which non-holders have been pushing on CTP, that they are trying to protect newcomers from making a bad investment. Firstly, I think that CTP is potentially a very good investmnent. Secondly, there are hundreds of spec stocks where people could lose money, and I don't see any of the self-appointed CTP white knights posting on all those other stocks to warn newcomers. So obviously they have some special interest in CTP, and the alleged concern for others is just a smokescreen.
Investing in speculative stocks has always been a high-risk path to possible high rewards, and people investing in specs know that, so they don't need a team of nannies and knockers to protect them. They can make their own decisions.
As for the suggestion that I should just ignore the non-holders who constantly attack a company in which I have my money invested, why should I just stand back and let people try to destroy my investment?
I don't care what your motives are, if you are not a shareholder in this company and you try to downramp it for your own ends, I'm going to come to the defence of my company, even though I only own a small part of it.
