Ahhhrrr I love it when a plan comes together.....
Was just thinking about this thread last night.
Plan was to blanket the small cap Mongols last year to replicate the success of AKM with new companies entering the market, particularly coking coal. May have got another AKM with CEO, waiting for coal quality results and further news. VOR is also more that worth a look.
Summary;
AKM holding
CEO/O holding
VORO holding
BDI GMM LRL sold at profit, may look to re-enter.
XAM TVN KSO bought last week.
Still massively leveraged to the Mongols, investors should be looking at Mongolian companies for medium long term leverage to the structural change in coal supply, not just a flash in the pan for short term trading.
Im singing to my own song book but believe west african iron ore and Colombian coal is also worth a look, expect more interest in these sectors on the asx.
