The greens are friends of the planet and want to keep it habitable for all species including humans. Some mining companies behave as though they are enemies of the planet, destroying the environment ruthlessly. Those days are over. If a mining company wants to be successful it needs to pay regard to the environment and do as little damage as possible and then repair what damage it does do. It can't just rape and pillage as in the old days. It is better to work with the greens for a win-win situation.
Rare earths have an important part to play in turning around the environmental catastrophe that is looming (despite some idiotic naysayers). Let's make it work and protect the environment at the same time
