Yep I was told the same thing ... That night I was at RCA .. few Thai girls that lived in the same apartments as me, told me next day what they saw.. and they were inside Santika when the fire started .. at first everybody stood there like it was part of the stage act for the band (think the band name was 'Petrol' or 'Burn" something like that) ... then all hell broke lose when the flames set the roof alight .. and you know that club, if you where up those tiny stars at the the back or down those deep steps at the front of the stage, you were toast .. ... and these girls said that all the Thai guys rolling out pushing over everyone and it was farangs trying it help and carry the girls with them ... BUT if you mention it in Bangkok now days, all the Thai guys say how all the 'farangs were pushing the thai girls to the floor and running over them' ... I think most of the burn victims in ICU's from that blaze were young girls !! nice Thai guys, such brave men !!!

Just like the new movie "Hangover 2" ... saw that in Bkk some weeks back ... very funny, outstanding move ... my g/f and all the girls I know love the movie .. but some Thai guys I know say "it's not good and makes Bangkok look bad" .... .. yeh right, the Thai guys hate the movie because of the very clever big joke they make in the movie about the size of Thai guys d#cks" .... but it's ok for Thai's to make jokes about farangs in movies .. !!!
