There is nothing mysterious about death and anyone who thinks so needs sympathy and understanding. Death, when it eventually comes, should be welcomed in the same way the birth of a baby is welcomed. What needs to be understood is we are eternal beings inhabiting a material body and when that body breaks down (old age) we simply move to another plane. Our real self cannot be extinguished as those who have committed suicide find to their dismay.
