There's no surface expression other than small area at surface where they noticed coal fragments, according to ME, hence location of 1st hole (and stunning intercept). I would think they'd need to drill hole 3 in some triangular relationship; that would give best chance of revealing strike/dip because it might give them a planar surface to deal with. Of course, if holes 1 & 2 hit different seams they would probably need more holes than just the three to get that information. Once they determine strike they could drill step-out holes quite a way apart with a good chance of still making intercepts, and that would also imply much larger resource than they currently know is there. So probably the best use of limited drilling time & cash.
