    Hey everyone,

Newbie on board here, just popping my 2c worth in. We could have had a working solar tower at Neds corner in NSW a few years ago, which would have supplied mega power and fresh fruits and vegies galore, but the governments were too slow to do anything about it and so the project went to California instead.

The biggest hassle with solar isn't the production of power but rather the storage. Some electricity authorities have been unable to handle the feedback into the grid because the number of people taking up solar have overwhelmed the system. A better storage device needs to be created before solar energy will come into its own.

Regarding the climate change debate, I'd just like to have one without the controversy thanks before we are all taxed to death. And if the levels of CO2 go up next year, will they rescind the tax? No way.

CWE and CFU have always been interesting in the way of alternative energy companies. You've only got to sit on one of our famous beaches and think about how to harness that energy.....what would our world be like if energy was cheap and plentiful?
