Totally agree ... industrialisation of China won't be achieved with legacy technologies ... long ago they grasped the need to have breakthough and varied energy generation ... they will be the world's lowest cost, lowest emission producer within 2 decades imo.

A recent analogy ... look at the palava of communications development in mature western nations with sunk investment and inertia from the copper network ... then look at the excellent wireless comms systems developed places like China, Vietnam and all over Asia.

Dreamers here in Australia pine for the bygone "lucky country" ... that just won't cut in in the years and decades to come imo ... we have to be the determined, innovative country.
