The logic of GZ is not faulty. But your logic is faulty because you are denying change

A green leaf lives on a tree because it gains nutriment. But when it falls from the tree, it changes.

Young children generally do not have strong or any sexual thoughts. But when physical bodies change due to puberty, minds begin to have strong sexual thoughts.

When a person is suffering mentally, their physical body is under tremendous tension. Their breathing, most noteably, is agitated & terse. If that suffering person can take some deep thorough inhalations and exhalations, their out of control mental activity & suffering can/will subside.

Human beings have sexual organs & hormones. Such physical things produce emotions of love & fear and cravings for social relationships. Such emotions produce things like heartbreak & pain. Thus heartbreak & pain are not things independent of having a physical body.

Recently, an aged friend died. He awoke in the middle of the night (never did before), urgently asking to speak to his wife. He died two hours later. It was some strong deterioration in his body that produced the thoughts in his mind knowing he would die very soon.

But you, Sarcophagus, are implying continuity of mind, mind independent of physical body and suffering independent of physical body. Your logic is faulty

Suffering is not independent of what is seen, heard, touched and sensed. What is seen, heard, touched & sensed is not independent of having a physical body. Pain is not independent of having a nervous (neurological) system.

As for your riddle: "what if nonsomething is not born?", this is non-sense. A "nonsomething" cannot be born nor can it suffer. Only a "something" can suffer. Only an "identity" can suffer. A "nonsomething" is not born, cannot die and cannot suffer.

    Regards
