It was a dark and stormy night. (Snoopy via "Peanuts" says all mystery stories start that way).

Of course that is plagiarism as we all know the poem:-

The night was dark and stormy
The billy goat he was blind
He backed into a barb wire fence
And tore his never mind.

So I digress;

It was a dark and stormy night, the atmosphere was electric (what else would you expect on a stormy night) with anticipation of the appearance of the BigD, BigDaddy to his friends, but friends is too kind a word for the people he associated with.

He glided (with a deliberate stall and then roll) into the Zoomba lounge. No one could mistake that arrogant chin. Yes, it had seduced many of the fairer sex but men knew it as a testosterone induced genetic mutation of Neanderthal forebears.

His smooth ways, and his claims of being a looser in the art of money making, only enhanced his charm to the desperate women looking for a man they could rehabilitate into their recreation of a perfect man, while the men saw him as no threat to their position as superior.

But as the night progressed, BigD won the hearts of the women other men felt they possessed and the dimple increased its dimpledness with each conquest.

As he left the Zoomba lounge, BigD praised every male visitor and left them feeling important.

Little did they know he was now the master of all they thought they possessed.
