at least the chairman stayed loyal to Noble and it'll be situation normal for him. unlike the numpty MD who never really understood he was only there to do what the chairman told him, and tried to get all commercial and sell out to Exxaro. The non-execs can do that... but not the MD... dumb dumbo.
and you've got to reckon if Exxaro hadn't pushed the share price up we'd still be trading in the low 20's to sub 20 so the bidding war he instigated was pretty good for shareholders but really really bad for Noble. 30 cents = fair price, 50 cents = noble burnt. maybe noble think they can start running it properly, put some new assets in there, and re-float it. time will tell.
so yes, i suspect once this bid is out of the way over the next few days god's gift to absolutely sweet FA will be packing his bags and out of there on be gone by the end of the month. he should write a book on management, that's what i reckon.
it'll be a great day to see TTY disappear off the ASX's boards.
