That to me is truly wishful thinking. The debt ceiling talks in the US have only one outcome, the US will protect its leadership. A failure of the talks would create risk to US treasuries which would send catastrophic ripples through the financial world, the US would never be the same in terms of financial stability.
The likelihood of that to happen is miniscule.
Today's buying, similar to yesterday's is not yet the strong buying which most likely will follow. Currently there are waves of accumulation with strong buying sentiment behind it. The retreats are minor and advances solid.
My charts, in combination with underlying fundemantals, point clearly to a way up in the moment.
