Hmmm...so, basically they are telling the candidates, don't think for yourself, just do what we tell you. You'll merely be a project manager....KM has done all the work see, we need to deliver his vision, so really you don't have to think very much at all, just sit in the office...but don't worry, you'll have the title of CEO to boast about, no one will know you aren't really performing the duties of CEO......

No wonder they are having trouble finding quality candidates. Talk about ambition limiting and going against everything high quality CEO's stand for. A CEO that accepted under those conditions I would be seriously worried about. The sooner KM just gets out of the way the better.
