For what its worth, here's my take.

TA. The stock has been in a nice uptrend since early May this year and is comfortably above both 50 and 200 day moving averages. Further, the 50 day MA is above the 200 day MA which is also a plus. Recently, It has done some work in the 16 to 17 cent range and needs to break through 17 cents decisively, preferably on good volume to assure further rises. I wouldn't pay too much attention to that gap at 14.5 cents. It was on virtually zero volume and is not technically significant.

Fundamentals. I hate this company while I love Quicken software. I have used Quicken products for many years(currently Cashbook) to run both my personal and business affairs and have been very happy. I have been less than enamoured however with Reckon's customer service especially when Cashbook was released full of bugs at the time the GST was introduced. The company showed themselves to be arrogant and unwilling to support their customers. I would have nothing to do with them let alone buy their shares.
