Yes, I said "trees" not "bushes".
A couple of months ago we got a flier in the letter box selling two tomato seeds for $9. It promised plants head high giving equally large fruit. We tossed it.
Maybe we were a bit hasty. Lately a friend has been giving us some BIG tomatoes. One today was just under a kilo and we are partial to some tomato out of the pan with our bacon and eggs. And they are not big and coarse, I like them.
If they are grown by seed they aren't a hybrid and the lady who is giving us these just calls them "bullock's heart" which is consistent with any large produce from years ago. Anyone know them?
