the main gripe is the market is a manipulated casino run by greedy people and their cronies and that makes investing difficult.

Lets face it our world has been hopelessly corrupted.

I blame the rise of liberal beliefs. In the liberal world everything is relative. Not having core beliefs of their own they cant tell the difference between right and wrong as they have no standard to which they can compare courses of action.

Into this moral vaccum the rest of us exist. The culture of meaningless moral life has corrupted those who wield great responsibility such as the market players, who no longer feel compelled to act in the right matter.

We all see the writing on the wall and we are all subconsciously hell bent on plundering as much as possible while time allows, so we can set up our private citadels and restore moral order to our lives, within our walls.
