The Brits certainly have a liking for african minerals, not necessarily African i/o stocks per se. If / when CFE actually pull off a signifcant sale of an african asset as has African Minerals we might also see CFE do well. At present the only value we have on our African assets is what Tony Sage thinks they are worth. Someone else who would have a fair idea would be Frank Timis. Now it beggers belief to me that if Frank Timis thought that Marampa was worth anywhere near $500 mill, why wouldnt be inreasing African Minerals stake in CFE? ( or taking it over which they easily could)? And please dont tell me its because Frank and Tony are mates and he wouldnt do that to him. i wouldnt believe that for 2 reasons.
    1. both these guys know that business is business
    2. I reckon Tony Sage would take an offer of 70 cents for CFE tomorrow ( so would I ). despite all his big talking about CFE being a billion dollar company
