Redrun, re "questioning management's tactics" please don't forget that BPT took the action, not ICN, and now we have an out of Court settlement. Takes one to go to Court but takes two to settle out of Court.
Obviously, ICN has seen that it was a David v Goliath issue, also against a highly regarded SA company with the hearing to be held in a SA Court. Don't underestimate those factors also.
But, regardless of who "did best" out of the new settlement, I, for one, am delighted with the outcome. Had Icon won, I still think that the market would still have given it no credibility, nothing would have changed. All about perception and credibility. Icon had none and still would have had none.
Today's result is a major win/win/win for Icon and BPT. Would suggest that ADE would also be delighted that they can continue to deal with BPT and not a complete unknown, with little funding and a dubious reputation as Icon had. ADE now comes out as a higher risk TO prospect with that very valuable 20%(potentially controlling) interest to either BPT and yes, also to Icon!!!!!
