Observations from a boob as encouraged by bigdaddy.
With QE2 over should we be watching the US treasury auctions and expect the stock indices to decline when they occur as liquidity is withdrawn. This week there was $66billion of note/bond auctions settling tonite and about $51bill of bills. Pretty much the first large auction since qe2 ended. The market seemed to go up whenever the Fed bought paper injecting liquidity so maybe we should expect the opposite now.
