It is quite disappointing to see that a company with such promise has to needlessly end up with poor press like this (Courier Mail article). Twice in one week no less.

It was also disappointing to also see that the company did not offer to open a civil discussion with their shareholders while the opportunity existed today. I know that there was a plan to speak on behalf of a small group to actually congratulate the executive team on their work and move to propose or suggest an alternative performance arrangement. If the company achieves greatness then why shouldn't management and the team be rewarded? I think the fact that the remaining resolutions were passed shows that the shareholders are more than happy to realistically reward effort where it is due; the executive team included.

Unfortunately, the instruction was clearly not to speak unless spoken to. They silenced everyone when in my opinion they needed to embrace their supporters and listen to what had to be said. Great leaders know how to listen and Mr Jones had the opportunity to rise above this drama today.

Funnily enough, whilst there has been a lot of negativity lately, talking to other shareholders today, there is actually an underlying feeling of genuine support for these guys; they just need to stop, think about their actions and listen to their shareholders.

The the Executive tam at CBZ

Cut the greed ! Drop the hostility! and i'm confident everyone will come out smiling.
